I hadn’t heard of MINT Jodi Arnold but as soon as I clapped eyes on this dress I started swotting up. Born over a cup of tea in Paris, the MINT label has been going for eight years, US slebs Katie Holmes, Kirsten Dunst and Cameron Diaz are all fans. Arnold has been sewing since she was 13, back in her Alabama hometown of Birmingham. She started out as an illustrator for Simplicity Patterns, and a designer for Danskin before developing her own line and has projects for MINT shoes and accessories.
The dress itself is gorgeous, combining the simplicity of a t-shirt with the luxe of silk and metallic fabrics. The geometric shapes give it a playful edge making it perfect for an effortless evening look, available from Net-a-Porter for £265 it’s definitely going on my wishlist.
