
On Friday, renowned sportswear brand Puma worked with Peace One Day to support global peace day. A gala was held at the prestigious Royal Albert Hall to mark the occasion, Puma also announced their plans for its Peace One Day football collection, which will be unveiled at the African Cup of Nations in January 2008. Puma CEO and Chairman, Jochen Zeitz, explained “We support the aim of Peace One Day and want to make a contribution to the generation of global peace on one day. Within our commitment, we will develop a special charity football collection, available in 2008. We are delighted to be a strong and long-term partner of this exemplary initiative.” New pop sensation Kate Nash was there (in a pair of wonderful green tights) to join the celebration along with music legend and charity activist Annie Lennox.
